Herawati Tanuwihardja, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. She was born on May 1st, 1939 in Jakarta, Indonesia, to parents, Kho Neng Nio and Tan Tong Soei.
She finished High School, but she never had a chance to attend any University. She worked as a cashier accountant in a commercial printing company for many years in Jakarta. She lived mostly in Jakarta, up till 1998 when she decided to move to America since both of her sons live there. She adjusted well in America since she has so many lovely friends. She loved doing dance exercise routines and watching Chinese drama movies at home. Herawati loved to go to different churches both Indonesian and Chinese churches. One of her hobbies was singing Christian Hymns in church choir. She devoted her life to her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Herawati was preceded in death by her husband, Sugiharto Hartojo and parents.
She is survived by her loving sons, Joe and Tom Hartojo; her daughter in law, Emillia; her grandsons, Daniel and Nathan.
