Soli-Deo Indonesian Church have just received a thank you video sent by Rev. Abraham Ben Moses for praying over him and his family.
“Shalom. My name is Rev. Saefuddin Ibrahim. My whole family wants to thank the congregation in Dallas, congregation of Soli-Deo who has prayed for me. This past two months, I’ve been free, and I’ve began to serve, and continue to tell others about the gospel. Everyone continues to in high spirits, whatever happens to us, we continue to believe and continue to hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you, and may Lord Jesus bless you.”
Rev. Saefuddin Ibrahim. was a Muslim cleric who converted to Christianity.
In 2018, Rev Ibrahim was sent to prison because he told his taxi driver about Jesus.
The opposition considered his action a “religious defamation”, and sentenced him to prison.
Since then, Rev. Ibrahim has been released, and is now back his family.
Soli-Deo is but one of the churches praying for Rev. Ibrahim’s safety. Prayers work, and Jesus does protect his lambs. He never promises that we won’t be persecuted, but he will be there every step of the way.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Let us continue to pray for Rev. Ibrahim and his family, along with other missionaries doing God’s work in Indonesia.
